Our crew blasted off to Düsseldorf, Germany for an unbelievable seven day tech & trade show event. This show happens once every three years. Just like the Olympics or World Cup, it’s a big deal. .
The Düsseldorf Messe is one of the top-ten largest convention centers in the world. If your looking to max out your step count every day, then this is the place to set foot!

We had the assignment of setting up a greenscreen photo booth activation for a very important corporate client. Our Fotopod designed curved Nautilus(TM) greenscreen fabric-tension backdrop provided the sleek and clean modern feel our clients were looking for.
The greenscreen setup was the central focus point of the exhibit space, and provided the perfect visual monolith to meet and greet customers.
I mean, what better way to break the corporate ice than to say, “Wow, is that really you in that newspaper photo?! You should be a model!”

The true objective was to give attendees the opportunity to be on the front of their own chosen newspaper. Fotopod was able to customize the greenscreen options and functionally all within #DarkroomBooth and our “Nano Pod” photo-capturing system executed it flawlessly. In this post, we provided a crazy-quick demo video showcasing how that’s all done.

11”x14” inch instant printouts were then given to the participating attendees as a memorable keepsake. The printout has the same output size and branding as their typical newspaper publications. Not only is this a genius marketing strategy, but guests were blown away by the whole seamless photo capturing experience. .
It’s truly heart-warming to hear attendees say, “This is the most satisfying thing at the show!” Thanks to the Fotopod crew @andretaft @victorlara for being on-site and capturing the event! .
